Job Summary
Grandus Infra Projects Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a proactive and result-oriented Civil Site Engineer
with 4–5 years of experience in residential and commercial building construction. The role
involves managing day-to-day site execution, ensuring quality, coordinating with contractors and
consultants, and delivering projects safely, on time, and as per approved drawings and
specifications.
Key Roles & Responsibilities (KRR)
Site Execution
? Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
? Ensure execution is as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
? Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labour teams for smooth site
operations.
? Monitor daily work progress and achieve planned construction milestones.
Quality Control
? Ensure all civil works comply with company quality standards and applicable IS Codes.
? Inspect RCC works, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, and finishing activities.
? Identify quality issues and ensure timely corrective actions.
? Coordinate material testing and maintain quality records.
Project Coordination
? Coordinate with Architects, Structural Consultants, MEP Engineers, and Project
Manager for effective project execution.
? Resolve site execution issues and ensure implementation of revised drawings and
instructions.
? Attend site meetings and follow up on action points.
Material & Resource Management
? Verify receipt and quality of construction materials.
? Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
? Coordinate with Procurement and Stores for timely material availability.
Contractor Management
? Supervise contractor performance and ensure adherence to project timelines.
? Verify executed quantities for billing purposes.
? Ensure contractors follow approved construction practices.
Safety & Compliance
? Ensure implementation of all safety procedures and use of PPE by site personnel.
? Report unsafe conditions and ensure timely corrective actions.
? Support safety audits and inspections.
Documentation & Reporting
? Maintain daily progress reports, manpower reports, and material consumption records.
? Record measurements and maintain site documentation.
? Submit regular progress updates to the Project Manager.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
? Achievement of construction milestones as per schedule.
? Quality of execution with minimum rework.
? Material wastage within approved limits.
? Timely submission of site reports.
? Contractor productivity and coordination.
? Compliance with safety standards.
? Timely closure of consultant observations.
Required Skills
? Strong knowledge of RCC construction, finishing works, and building construction
practices.
? Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
? Working knowledge of AutoCAD drawings.
? Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
? Good planning, coordination, and communication skills.
? Ability to solve site-related technical issues independently.
Preferred Experience
4–5 years of experience in residential and commercial real estate projects.
Experience in high-rise apartment construction will be preferred.
Exposure to project handover and finishing activities is an added advantage.
