Job Title: Manufacturing Technician 1 Location: Godwin Drive Manassas,VA 20110 Duration:1-year Assignment (Possibility of extension) Shift: A Shift: Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wednesday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM C Shift: Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM This manufacturing technician role is focused on material handling and supporting manufacturing operations in a clean room environment. The position primarily involves manually handling and transporting high-value memory products ("wipers") that are stored in boxes of 25. Responsibilities include retrieving materials from storage areas, moving them safely to pass-through locations within the fab, and following established processes with a strong emphasis on attention to detail, safety, and proper material handling procedures.
The role also includes loading lots into manual process tools after training. Once materials are placed into the tools, the equipment completes the remaining process steps automatically. The majority of the work is manual and operational in nature, requiring employees to be comfortable working in a manufacturing setting and handling expensive materials with care.
Key qualifications include experience with material handling, the ability to operate pallet jacks and move stacked hoops, a strong safety mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures in a clean room environment. Previous manufacturing, warehouse, semiconductor, production, or logistics experience would be transferable to this role.
Training is expected to take no more than two weeks due to the straightforward nature of the job. The position supports a growing production line and is being considered for contractor staffing. Interviews will be conducted in person and consist of a single interview round.
