CNC Setup MachinistShift:2nd Shift, Monday - Friday 330pm -1130pm
Pay: $24-$27/hr + shift differential of 10%
Location - Cromwell, CT, US,06416(Temp to Hire)
Duration - 12 months Position SummaryThe ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing background, mechanical aptitude, and experience setting up and operating CNC machining equipment.
Responsibilities - Operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce quality parts according to specifications (Okuma and Haas machines onsite)
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production documents
- Perform routine machine adjustments and monitor machine performance
- Perform machine changeovers and setup
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety and production procedures
Qualifications - Minimum of 2-3 years of CNC operation experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience setting up CNC machines
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read measuring instruments and blueprints to perform basic quality checks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
