Deal Desk Analyst

The Deal Desk Analyst will support the Deal Desk team by helping scale the function and managing the analysis, approvals, and documentation required to operationalize complex deals.

The Deal Desk team supports monetization, pricing, and complex deal strategies, while coordinating the internal approval processes required to move opportunities forward.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of Pure's business model, competitive landscape, and product offerings.
• Support Trade-In Programs and guarantees by preparing and reviewing documentation used in sales proposals.
• Conduct manual analysis and review existing programs to determine eligibility and applicability based on established terms and conditions.
• Work with pricing calculators to calculate trade-in credits and support deal-related analysis.
• Provide data and supporting insights to help the team make day-to-day decisions that support long-term business goals and improve sales productivity.
• Review incoming deals for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with company policies and strategic initiatives.
• Manage incoming requests and ensure timely coordination, follow-up, and resolution in accordance with established turnaround expectations.
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to support a smooth and efficient deal approval process.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Deal Desk, pricing, deal analysis, or a related function.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with a problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Creative problem solver who can thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
• Self-directed, resourceful, and able to take ownership of responsibilities.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and financial analysis tools.
• Experience working with Salesforce and Tableau.
