Finance - General Accounting Location: Remote(must be local to Louisville office) Duration: 6 months with possible conversion
Job Overview: The Sr. Revenue Specialist assists in ensuring sales and cash are accurately recorded on financial statements for U.S. equity restaurants across all brands. This role involves daily cash matching, performs reconciliations, and researches discrepancies while collaborating with internal teams such as Control, Loss Prevention, Treasury, Audit, and Field Operations.
Responsibilities: • Monitor and perform daily matching of cash, credit cards and gift card activity. • Research and resolve discrepancies, including store outreach, over/short reports, bank research, and refund requests. • Complete period-end reconciliations (e.g., cash, credit card, gift card, and other general ledger accounts). • Monitor and perform sales distribution on a weekly basis. • Prepare, log, and upload journal entries each period. • Perform adhoc support as back up for the team (e.g., missing sales, sales suspense accounts, preparing, gift card journal entries, overhead allocations, and brand-level matching activities
Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of relevant work experience • Proficiency with JDE and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • High attention to accuracy and detail
Preferred Requirements: • Experience with a large, global company • Background in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) or retail environment
