Job Title: Titles Agent Location: Fort Worth, TX Duration: 12 months on W2
Role Summary The Title Operations role is responsible for supporting a broad range of title-related processes that are critical to business continuity, customer service, and operational compliance. This role requires accuracy, adaptability, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple process areas while maintaining a professional and service-focused approach.
Scope of Responsibilities The team manages a diverse and complex scope of work that differentiates it from many other operational areas. Responsibilities may include title release, title recovery, standard title processing, repossession and auction title support, title deficiencies, Florida Direct processing, vendor reporting, contract return state responsibilities, group email inbox management, mail-related processes, and phone support.
Key Responsibilities can include:
Support title release, title recovery, and standard title processing activities in accordance with established procedures.
Assist with repossession title processing, and auction-related title support.
Research, resolve, and escalate title deficiencies or recovery matters as appropriate.
Complete Florida Direct processing, vendor reporting tasks, and contract return state responsibilities with accuracy and timeliness.
Monitor and manage assigned group email inboxes, ensuring requests are reviewed, prioritized, and addressed appropriately.
Process incoming and outgoing mail related to title operations while maintaining required documentation and workflow standards.
Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, dealers, internal business partners, and state Departments of Motor Vehicles.
Maintain strong attention to detail, process accuracy, and compliance awareness across assigned title-related responsibilities.
Participate in cross-functional coordination as needed to support business continuity and timely resolution of title-related issues.
Customer Service and Communication Expectations Because the role may include phone support and direct communication with internal and external partners, strong customer service skills are essential. Agents may interact with customers, vendors, dealers, Dealer Relationship Managers, internal business partners, regional operations managers, auction houses, and state Departments of Motor Vehicles. These interactions require professionalism, clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to represent the organization effectively.
Training and Development Approach Agents generally begin with foundational responsibilities that are easier to learn and master before progressing into more complex assignments. This approach supports consistency, reduces confusion during onboarding, and allows agents to build confidence in core processes. As agents demonstrate proficiency, they may transition into additional responsibilities based on business needs, individual readiness, and operational priorities. For agents who demonstrate quick proficiency, limited phone-related tasks, such as contact with state Departments of Motor Vehicles, may be introduced within the first few months.
Business Impact This role supports efficient title management, timely resolution of title-related issues, and effective coordination across multiple internal and external stakeholders. By maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and process knowledge across several specialized areas, agents contribute to improved service delivery, reduced operational risk, and stronger support for customers and business partners.
