Job Title: Sr Network Engineer Location: Remote Duration: 12 Months
Job Description: Responsibilities of this position include: Operating, administering, and managing day to day network operations of a large scale global mixed media network environment supporting mission critical customer applications. Monitoring the data network for performance degradation, connectivity issues, system events and alerts, updating and managing tickets through resolution with vendors and internal support systems.
Create and implement data network changes The minimum requirements for this position are: Bachelor's degree - computer science or similar At least 2 years of experience with software engineering, DevOps or related The ability to be comfortable adopting new technologies Comfort implementing solutions using automation, observability, and security principals The ability to contribute meaningfully to agile ceremonies, lead demos and presentations. A security first attitude
Must Have Skills:
BSD (computer science/relatable)
CISCO
Network Operations- don't use much with firewall, some SPLUNK is used
2 years with soft. Engineering, dev ops/ relative exp.
Comfortable adapting to new technologies
Using new solutions with security principles
Agile ceremonies
Leading presentations
Security first attitude
secure CRT (navigate/multi-task),
house monitoring system they will train on
Nice to Have Skills:
River bed- packet tracing with SPLUNK
