Job Title: Sales Operations Representative Location – Remote AZ Length of assignment – Three positions will last 6 months, fourth opening will last for 3 months; 40 hours per week
Summary: Supports Members by assisting them with sales leads follow-up and qualification in order to increase accounts in the Business Advantage program. Job Responsibilities:
Supports Member hotels by making outbound prospecting calls to unmanaged, small to medium-sized businesses to qualify leads submitted by the hotels, consumer direct, and prospecting lists.
Increases brand loyalty by enrolling qualified accounts in the Business Advantage program. Assists department by documenting and recording sales prospecting activity in computer-based tracking systems and preparing reports as needed.
Contributes to team effort by training member hotels in the use of the client Business Advantage program and providing support on how to submit leads.
Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and address complaints.
Answer telephones, direct calls and take messages Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions and other activities.
Skills/Qualifications:
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. May require intermediate proficiency in a specific application.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Sound knowledge of relevant policies, procedures and guidelines specific to job.
Uses persuasive selling skills to convince others to enroll client Business Advantage Program. Conveys and obtains information, both internal and external to the department.
Uses written, verbal, and electronic skills effectively.
Education/Experience:
Related marketing or sales experience in the hospitality industry. Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 0-2 years' experience.
