Title- Insurance Solutions Specialist
Location- Worcester, MA | Howell, MI (Hybrid ) Or Remote
Duration- 6 Months(Temp to Perm)
Schedule: Team members work scheduled shift Monday through Friday (7:00 AM to 9:30 PM Eastern time) and a rotating Saturday  (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM).
 

Position Overview

We are looking for an Insurance Solutions Specialist to provide excellent customer service to policyholders and insurance agents. This role will handle customer inquiries, explain insurance coverage, process policy transactions, provide quotes, and identify opportunities to recommend additional coverage.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience, strong customer service skills, and experience working in a call center or contact center environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls from policyholders, agents, and other stakeholders.
• Answer questions about insurance policies, products, and coverage.
• Review customer accounts and explain available coverage options.
• Process policy changes, transactions, and service requests accurately.
• Provide insurance quotes when required.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate additional or increased coverage.
• Follow established underwriting guidelines, procedures, and state regulations.
• Review correspondence and respond to customer and agent requests by phone, email, or other channels.
• Document customer interactions accurately in multiple systems.
• Resolve customer issues while providing a positive customer experience.
• Meet established customer service, quality, productivity, and call-handling goals.
• Participate in training, team meetings, and assigned projects.

Required Qualifications

• 2–4 years of Property & Casualty insurance experience with an insurance agency or carrier.
• Prior call center/contact center experience strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience explaining insurance policies, coverage, or products.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of customer issues.
• Comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, Excel, and other computer applications.
• Ability to work with multiple systems and screens simultaneously.
• Must have or be willing to obtain and maintain the required state insurance license(s).
