Job Title: Logistics Specialist I
Location: Chicago, IL 60638
Duration: 2+ Months (Possibility of extension depending upon business requirements and performance)
Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
Job Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate logistics documentation for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper filing, tracking, and accessibility
- Coordinate and execute customer shipments, including small parcel preparation and resolution of delivery or shipment discrepancies in partnership with Customer Service.
- Monitor and follow up on non-deliveries, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
- Communicate shipping schedule changes to the logistics department and planning department.
- Perform additional duties as required to support business operations
Required Skills: - Proficient in MS Office
- Experience with shipping and receiving
- Clerical experience
Preferred Skills: - Inventory Experience
- Inbound & Outbound load experience
- Carrier & dock coordination
Education/Experience Requirement: - 1+ years of shipping and receiving, warehouse environment
