Job title: Growth Marketing I5 / Senior Paid Media Specialist 
Location: Remote - US
Duration: 12 Months Assignment
Shift/Schedule: 40 hrs/week


About the Role
  • We're looking for a hands-on Senior Paid Media Specialist to build and lead our paid media agency strategy from the ground up.
  • This is a highly operational role — you'll own the full lifecycle of campaign execution, from strategy and setup through optimization and reporting, while also partnering directly with merchant partners to drive web ordering and delivery growth through paid media.

What You'll Do:
Strategy & Agency Management
  • Architect and own our paid media agency strategy, including agency selection, onboarding, workflow design, and performance accountability.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders and agency partners, ensuring campaigns align with business goals.
  • Define standards, processes, and playbooks that scale across campaigns and partners.
Hands-On Campaign Ownership
  • Own all stages of campaign builds end-to-end: brief, setup, launch, optimization, and reporting — this is a do-it-yourself role, not a manage-the-manager role.
  • Manage and optimize paid media budgets across search, social, and display channels (Meta, Google, TikTok, and others as relevant).
  • Develop audience targeting frameworks and creative strategies that drive efficient acquisition and retention.
Testing & Learning
  • Design and execute structured A/B tests across bidding models, creative formats, landing pages, and audience strategies.
  • Build case studies from test results, documenting what worked, what didn't, and why — creating reusable playbooks the team can act on.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate creative iteration, performance analysis, and experimentation velocity.
Merchant Partner Growth
  • Partner with merchant partners to develop tailored paid media strategies aimed at growing web ordering and delivery volume.
  • Translate merchant business objectives into actionable campaign plans, and communicate performance clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analyze full-funnel performance — from ad click through to order completion — to identify growth and optimization opportunities.
Analytics & Reporting
  • Own regular reporting cadences; clearly communicate performance, wins, and challenges to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with data and analytics teams to build attribution models and measure incrementality.
  • Use data to pressure-test results and validate what actually drove performance before scaling spend.
Who You Are
  • 6+ years of hands-on paid media experience, with a track record of owning campaigns from setup through optimization.
  • Deep expertise across major ad platforms — Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and others.
  • Proven ability to build structured testing programs and translate results into actionable case studies and playbooks.
  • Experience developing paid media strategies for external partners or clients, with strong stakeholder communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable with attribution models, incrementality testing, and funnel analysis.
  • Experience managing or collaborating with external agencies — you know how to get the best out of agency relationships.
  • Comfortable using AI tools in your daily workflow (creative concepting, performance analysis, etc.) and curious about how emerging tools change what's possible.
  • Self-starter who can build from scratch and operate independently without a fully established playbook.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Agency background or experience working in an agency environment.
  • Experience marketing to restaurants, local merchants, or within marketplace/delivery platforms.
  • Familiarity with mobile app marketing and attribution platforms (Adjust, AppsFlyer, etc.).
  • Google Tag Manager and/or experience with conversion tracking setup.
  • Experience marketing subscription products or digital services.
