Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday–Friday
Position Summary
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations and supporting the administration of Human Resources policies, procedures, and programs. This role provides comprehensive support across multiple HR functions, with a primary focus on hiring, compliance, employee relations, and operational efficiency.
This role will support the vehicle engineering organization specifically the unionized workforce. They will be on a team with 4 people (1 Directors, 3 specialists). The role will offer administrative daily tasks but also project and leadership exposure.

Key Responsibilities
- Hiring & Workforce Support
- Coordinate and support hiring activities, including backfill planning and requisition review
- Monitor hiring progress and maintain accuracy within workforce tracking tools
- Collaborate with business leaders to support staffing needs and organizational changes
- HR Operations & Administration
- Submit HR business transactions through ONEHR to support timely processing and reduce operational delays
- Assist in aiding employees with their yearly goal objectives (adding to ONEHR and tracking for achievement for end of year results)
- Employee Relations & Compliance
- Support ongoing employee relations matters, including conducting and documenting investigations received from EEOC, local management, and/or Security
- Support and coordinate ADA accommodation requests through the interactive process
- Research and evaluate potential phase-ups related to salary increases for represented personnel, ensuring satisfactory work performance and appropriate progression.
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred, but not required. If hired on in the future, a degree will be required
