Job Title: Writer/Editor

Location: Remote (EST or PST preferred)
Position Overview
Client is seeking an experienced Writer/Editor to join the Communications team. This role focuses on creating and managing internal communications content that supports client's global workforce. The ideal candidate will have a strong editorial background, experience with content management systems (CMS/CIM), and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and manage internal communication content.
- Produce written materials and support content publishing through content management systems (CMS/CIM).
- Participate in editorial meetings and content planning activities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across Amazon.
- Manage communication workflows and contribute to content strategy initiatives.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables while meeting deadlines.
Typical Work Breakdown
- 30% – Editorial meetings and planning
- 40% – Writing, content creation, content publishing, internal communications
- 30% – Cross-functional communication and stakeholder collaboration
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in writing, editing, or communications roles
- Strong experience with CMS/CIM (Content Management Systems) – required
- Editorial and content creation experience
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using metrics to measure content effectiveness
- Familiarity with internal collaboration tools such as Slack
- Ability to adapt writing style, tone, and voice for different audiences
