Job Title:Material Handler/Packager
Duration: 6 Months (Temp to Perm)
Location: Greenville, WI 54942
Shift: 3rd Shift - 9:45pm to 6am
Job Description
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Material Handlers/Packagers to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves assisting machine operators with packaging finished products, palletizing boxes, and moving materials throughout the warehouse. No prior machine operation experience is required — training will be provided.
This is a long-term special project expected to last up to one year or longer, with strong potential for permanent hire before the project concludes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist machine operators with packaging materials from press machines
- Remove finished rolls from machines and place them into boxes
- Tape and seal completed boxes for shipment
- Stack completed boxes onto pallets
- Move full pallets using a pallet jack to designated warehouse areas
- Perform routine quality checks following work order instructions
- Operate basic finishing equipment and tools under supervision
- Maintain productivity and quality standards
- Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and warehouse regulations
- Keep work area clean and organized
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs consistently
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Less than 1 year of experience required
- Previous warehouse, packaging, manufacturing, or material handling experience is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and safety practices
Safety Requirements
- Steel toe shoes are required
- Safety glasses, ear plugs, and high-visibility vests will be provided by Client
- Must comply with all Client policies, warehouse procedures, and safety regulations
