Position Title: Lab Tech
Work Location: Waco, TX 76712
Assignment Duration: 6 months
Work Schedule: 1st shift Tuesday - Saturday 8-4:30
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Position Summary: Coordinate sample receipt and testing of samples and input data into computer application. Perform routine analytical testing to support quality control testing of pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate sample receipt and testing of samples and input data into computer application.
• Perform routine analytical testing to support quality control testing of pharmaceutical products.
Qualification & Experience:
• have good laboratory skills, preferably in pharma/biotech.
• Experience in operating analytical equipment preferred (analytical balance, total carbon analyzer, spectrophotometer, pH meter).
• Should exhibit good problem solving skills. • Should possess computer skills as well as good communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree and 0-3+ years of laboratory experience.
• Experience with pharma/biotech quality control testing is preferred but not required.
• Required Skill 1: Basic lab instrumentation.
• Required Skill 2: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biochemistry or Associate’s degree.
• Required Skill 3: Attention to detail. • Required Skill 4: Well organized.
• Required Skill 5: GMP Laboratory Setting experience.
