Job Description

Location: Guayama, PR
Pay Rate: $14.00/hour + 10% shift differential
Shifts: Must have full availability to work rotating shifts based on business needs. Work schedules are subject to change and may include, but are not limited to, the following shifts:
  • 1st shift:  6:00am - 2:00pm
  • 2nd shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
  • 3rd shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am
Summary:
To provide direct support in the manufacturing and packaging process.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform use, storage, maintenance, and cleaning of all equipment within relevant areas of the Manufacturing Operations Department, in accordance with approved documentation, including SOPs, batch documents, and POs.
  • Achieve operational targets, including but not limited to OEE, RFT, documentation error reduction, changeover efficiency, and waste reduction goals.
  • Participate in work center–based teams and teamwork initiatives, including the design, development, and implementation of team-based projects such as audits, inspections, and other improvement activities.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects and support GPS training, including training and instruction of fellow operatives as designated by the relevant supervisor.
  • Accurately report department measures, metrics, and assigned controls.
  • Maintain and control specialized equipment and tools within relevant areas.
  • Complete all manufacturing and packaging in-process testing in accordance with approved documentation, including SOPs, batch records, and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, based on operational needs, new developments, or changes to the role.
  • Ensure Halal requirements are met in accordance with the General Guidelines of the Halal Assurance System (LPPOM MUI) for applicable medical device products and markets.
  • Comply with all safety standards, policies, and procedures when performing normal duties and work practices.
  • Report all near misses, accidents, or dangerous occurrences to the Department Manager or Supervisor immediately, or as soon as practicable.
  • Document all near misses and accidents in collaboration with the Team Leader or Supervisor.
  • Demonstrate leadership by example and promote a positive work culture.
  • Comply with all quality standards, procedures, policies, SOPs, and other approved documentation.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma with (3) three years' experience as Operator in the pharmaceutical industry; or Associate Degree in science, engineering or related field with (1) One-year experience; or Bachelor's of Science with no experience.
