Job Title: Facilities Support Coordinator
Location: San Diego, CA 92130
Duration: 8+ Months Contract (Potential Extension)
Position Summary:
The Facilities Support Technician will assist with day to day facility operations at the San Diego site. This role supports employees and internal teams by helping maintain an organized, safe, and efficient workplace environment.
The position includes supporting facility operations, coordinating office related tasks, managing documentation, and assisting employees with routine workplace needs. The technician will work closely with the Facilities Manager and other departments to support facility related requests and maintain operational efficiency across the site.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, and move throughout the facility environment. The role may involve occasional lifting or moving materials up to 50 pounds using appropriate equipment such as carts when necessary.

The position includes supporting facility operations, coordinating office related tasks, managing documentation, and assisting employees with routine workplace needs. The technician will work closely with the Facilities Manager and other departments to support facility related requests and maintain operational efficiency across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily facility operations and assist employees with facility related requests
- Monitor and replenish office supplies such as printer paper, coffee station items, and other common workplace materials
- Assist with reserving conference rooms using Microsoft Outlook and help coordinate meeting room setups when required
- Maintain organized workspaces and ensure common areas remain clean and presentable
- Track, coordinate, and update facility work requests while maintaining accurate documentation and records
- Assist with file management and maintaining organized facility related documentation
- Monitor office areas and report issues related to lighting, workspace equipment, or facility conditions
- Assist with coordination of incoming mail, packages, and deliveries when required
- Support vendor and contractor visits including coordinating site access or escort when needed
- Maintain inventory levels for facility supplies, tools, and related materials
- Assist with internal meetings, company events, or workspace arrangements including setup of tables, chairs, or displays
- Participate in safety procedures and workplace training programs as required
- Assist in drafting or updating facility related procedures or documentation when needed
- Follow company policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Required Skills:
- Previous experience supporting office operations, workplace services, or facilities coordination
- Experience working in a professional corporate office environment
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Technical training or certifications related to facilities or workplace operations are a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience with file management and maintaining organized documentation
- Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint or document management systems is a plus
- Experience with CRM or contract management systems such as Agiloft, Coupa, or DocuSign is preferred but not required
- Prior experience in data entry, administrative support, or document management in a corporate environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and apply practical problem solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, instructions, plans, or schematic drawings when needed. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills when working with employees, vendors, and management
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Additional Requirements
- Must possess a clean and valid California driver's license
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, or holidays when necessary
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
