Title: Client Development Manager
Location: America Free Zone, Heredia
Reports to : AVP, Operations
Type: Direct hire / Fulltime


Job Summary: The Client Development Manager is responsible for driving new business growth across key industries in the Costa Rican and nearshore markets. This role develops targeted sales strategies, builds executive?level relationships, and positions SPECTRAFORCE as a trusted workforce solutions partner. With a focus on sectors such as Medical Devices, Life Sciences, Shared Service Centers, and IT & Digital Services, the Client Development Manager works closely with internal teams to ensure seamless client integration and sustained revenue growth.
 
Essential Functions:
  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across key industries within Costa Rica and the nearshore market.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously refine strategic sales plans aligned with high?growth sectors such as Medical Devices, Shared Service Centers, and Information Technology.
  • Establish, strengthen, and maintain relationships with key decision?makers and executive stakeholders across multinational and local organizations.
  • Participate actively in industry associations, and professional networking groups to expand market reach and strengthen brand visibility.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, trade shows, and industry events, generating qualified leads and promoting SPECTRAFORCE’s value proposition.
  • Position SPECTRAFORCE as a strategic workforce and talent solutions partner within the Free Trade Zone ecosystem and broader nearshore environment.
  • Partner closely with Client Services and Recruitment teams to ensure smooth onboarding, successful delivery, and client satisfaction throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Drive consistent, year-over-year revenue growth and margin expansion, meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals and performance targets.
  • Maintain accurate and timely pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting within Salesforce and other internal systems.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with professionalism, ensuring contracts and agreements reflect sound business practices and support long-term partnerships.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for client concerns, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Independently manage scheduling, travel, client meetings, and account development activities to support business development initiatives.
  • Perform other duties assigned.
 Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree is required in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the Costa Rican market.
  • Demonstrated success in Staffing, Workforce Solutions, Outsourcing, BPO, or IT Services environments.
  • Established professional network across multinational companies and organizations operating in Costa Rica.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and executive?level negotiation skills.
  • Strategic, analytical thinker with strong commercial awareness and market insight.
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities in both languages.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently with limited supervision.
  • Strong organizational and time?management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience collaborating with U.S.-based clients or supporting nearshore delivery models is strongly preferred.
  • Active engagement in professional or industry associations in Costa Rica preferred.
Travel Requirements:
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time within Costa Rica; occasional international travel may be required.
