OVERVIEW OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
- Lead and manage the accounting team, providing guidance and support
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures in compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis
- Evaluate and implement improvements to streamline financial processes
- Conduct regular financial audits to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements in the manufacturing industry
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
