Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist

• Audit and oversee outsourced AP transactions to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely processing
• Serve as primary contact for issue resolution: stop payments, void/reissue checks, and deadline-driven financial tasks
• Maintain strong partnerships with property managers and accountants to ensure data integrity and smooth workflows
• Act as backup for construction AP cycles; build cross-functional exposure in development and operations
• Drive process improvement and maintain exceptional organizational discipline in a dynamic setting

Must-Have Skills/Experience (Required)

• Full-cycle Accounts Payable experience (multi-year, high accuracy, deadline-centric)
• Demonstrated organizational discipline and proactive issue resolution
• Hands-on experience with enterprise accounting software (Yardi/Sage highly valued but not required)
