- Compensation: $60,000–$100,000 (Base + uncapped commission)
Overview of the Outside Sales Representative Role:
- Develop and manage a designated sales territory, focusing on driving new business through in-person visits, networking events, and strategic outreach
- Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, referrals, industry events, and community engagement
- Conduct on-site client meetings, product/service presentations, and demonstrations
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers
- Identify customer needs and provide customized solutions to drive revenue growth
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to close deals successfully
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity tracking in CRM
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless onboarding and customer satisfaction
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments within the territory
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, territory sales, or related field
- Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory
