Accountant – Free Parking in Bethesda, MD.

About the Company and Opportunity:

• Our client is a school in the Bethesda area!
• Due to project, they are hiring a temporary Accountant to work in office.
• Free parking
• Schedule: M-F, 8a-4p
• Pay: $33-36/hr depending on experience
• Duration: approx. 6 weeks

Overview of the Accountant role:

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Reconcile endowment accounts (verify gifts and reconcile to bank accounts)
  • Assist with payroll (185 employees, semi-monthly, multi-state) - SOP creation
• Ad hoc projects and reporting

Preferred Qualifications for the Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree
• 3-5 years’ experience is preferred
• Veracross, Fund Driver, and Paylocity experience is a plus
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
