Job Title: Quality Technician I
Location: Hauppauge, NY - 11788 (100% onsite)
Duration: 3 months (Contract to Hire)
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM EST)

Summary:
The Quality Technician I is responsible for supporting the business with QA activities to ensure nonconforming products are not produced and shipped to customers. A critical function to provide inspection support as well as process improvements to sustain and improve product quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works with team to provide audits and inspections on product quality according to the client's quality-assurance processes.
• Assist with conducting nonconforming materials investigation and report to the client's authorized vendors as appropriate.
• Engages management and team members as required for assistance in addressing new or complex issues.
• Works with team to support new product quality plan implementations.
• Ability to understand technical requirements, delivering output following learned technical framework

Job Requirements:

• Preferred Education: High School or equivalent.
• Preferred Work Experience (years):0-3 years.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to learn technical information.
• Fluent level of English (written and verbal).
• Beginner level skills in Microsoft business applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-task environment.
• Solid professional work behaviors (attendance, teamwork, time management).
