Job Description

Position Overview
The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely customer invoicing and cash application while providing accounting support and insights that contribute to organizational growth and profitability. This role serves as a hands-on leader, overseeing billing and cash application functions while driving operational excellence across the AR process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Develop the AR Team: Supervise, coach, and mentor AR staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
  • Oversee Billing and Cash Application: Ensure accurate and timely invoicing, distribution, and application of customer payments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with customer service, project management, and other internal teams to resolve billing issues, credit adjustments, and order discrepancies.
  • Support Credit and Collections: Provide insights and assistance related to billing disputes, discrepancies, and collection matters.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness within AR operations through data analysis and trend evaluation.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Develop and maintain billing and cash application procedures and support internal and external audits as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly manages team members within billing and cash application functions, including hiring, training, performance management, and employee development in alignment with company policies and applicable regulations.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and fast-paced environments
