Job Title: Business Systems Analyst III
Duration: 12 months
Location: Remote
Shift Timings: Core Hours: somewhat flexible, but able to attend meetings and collaborate with team members between 8 am Pacific and 3 pm Pacific.

• This role is in the Platform Organization within the Product Design and Manufacturing Solutions division, which leads in defining and building components for the Fusion 360 family of products. We are looking for a Business Analyst to help us fulfill the mission of the organization, which is to drive developer productivity, cross platform device independence and software platform consistency.
• As a Business Analyst, you will be providing user stories to the development team based on visual designs. You will work with product management and experience design to collect acceptance criteria. You will then work with the scrum teams to produce working software to meet these requirements, leading the refinement of work for sprints. You will have the opportunity to work with talented teams and make a tremendous, lasting impact to our organization and customers.

 
Responsibilities

• Partner with product management and experience design team to define clear and actionable user stories for the engineering team.
• Break down higher level requirements into initiatives, epics, and user stories.
• Understand and interpret detailed visual designs and expertly elaborate user stories.
• Work closely with Product Owner to prepare sprints based on top priorities.
• Ensure the backlog contains an ample runway of user stories based on team velocity.

 
Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of prior work experience as a Business Analyst in an agile environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in projects involving web, mobile, and desktop.
• Experience working with Design Systems: UI Components, Design Tokens, and compositions of individual UI components.
• Experience with multiple toolkits (web platforms implementations and native platform implementations) of a Design System.
• Demonstrated ability to translate visual specifications from a tool like Figma to acceptance criteria.
• Ability to work with teams distributed across multiple locations and time zones
• Strong planning and dependency management skills.
• Strong understanding and successful application of Scrum and other agile software development methodologies.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, able to present complex ideas and tailor the delivery to different audiences.
• Strong collaboration skills, able to work with a diverse team of engineers, product managers, and experience designers to align and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Commitment to delivering a best-in-class customer and developer experience.

 
Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building platform-centric projects.
• Experience in using Jira, Figma, Confluence, and Slack.
• Experience with Accessibility requirements to meet standards like WCAG 2.1 AA and EN 301 549.
• B.S. or M.S. in computer science, engineering, or related field.
