Position: Staff Medical Device Engineer 
Location: San Diego, CA
Duration: 6 Months
 
Responsibilities:

• You will explore and down-select manufacturing processes for new technologies and system architectures.
• You will prototype selected manufacturing processes to show feasibility of scaling up, and to facilitate prototype system manufacturing.
• You will support equipment / process qualifications including protocol development and execution.
• You will conduct experiments and analyze data to identify process variables and optimize performance.
• You will develop and maintain equipment and process documentation, managing release through client's Quality Management System.
• You will troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues to ensure smooth prototype production operations.
• You will participate in the scale-up and transfer of new processes to pilot manufacturing.

Required:

• Experimental Design / Data Analysis
• Problem-Solving
• Design Skills:  CAD – Solidworks

Preferred:

• Design for Six Sigma
• JMP or Minitab (data Analysis SW)
• Experience in Med Device
