Job Description
Job Title- Field Service Technician I
Location- Palm Beach Gardens, FL, 33410
Duration- 3 months (Temp to Hire)
Shift- M/F 9/6 with some OT as needed. Able to work weekends, staggered or late shifts possibly including evenings and/or weekends • Will there be OC (on call)? There is an on call rotation 7x24 after 60 days, we do work on Saturday when on call but have a day off during the week
Description:
The position is currently a 90-day contract-to-hire.
Strong hardware break-fix experience. LaserJet break fix experience.
• Need 1 resource to perform Break & Fix work during 90-day contract-to-hire
• Candidate must maintain good customer focus meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLA’s)
• Technician will travel to each client’s location
• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs Desktop, Laptop, Server and Printer
• Works under general supervision
Minimum Requirements:
• Reliable transportation & valid driver’s license (This is a driving position – reimbursed accordingly)
• Personable as they will be interacting with a wide range of users and environments
• Can work on a ladder of lift and are able to lift up to 50lbs.
Basic Needs/Haves
• Able to work from a bent, crouched, or kneeled position
• Smartphone with tethering/hot spot capabilities (Reimbursed within Corporate Guidelines)
• Laptop
• Basic Hand Tools
NOT REQUIRED:
• CompTIA A+ • OEM Printer Warranty Certifications • OEM Laptop/Desktop Warranty Certifications
• Server experience would be a bonus

How many overall years of experience should this person have? 3 years+ supporting Desktops, Laptops, and Printers. 3 years+ of customer service experience
If contract to hire what is the conversion rate? $19 - $22
How many miles per day will the contractor be driving? Assume a 75 mile radius +/- •
