Job Title:Contracts & Sourcing Specialist II

Overview
The Contracts & Sourcing Specialist II supports sourcing and contracting activities for services and equipment/materials under the guidance of a Sourcing Manager. This role involves cross-functional collaboration, supplier interaction, and process optimization to ensure efficient sourcing operations.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to resolve Contract and Purchase Request (PR) process issues (e.g., vendor legal entity changes, inactive vendor status, TPA mismatches).

Post issues and follow up on Workplace groups; update and maintain trackers/tools.

Load negotiated contract rates into Rate Cards and ensure data integrity for FacOps dashboards and IDC FMS.

Create and maintain trackers for MSOW contracts, vendor transitions, contract terminations, and category-wide issuance.

Update supplier contacts and provide stakeholder support, including light intake guidance and triage of operational issues.

Assist Sourcing Manager with contracting: review and negotiate low-risk drafts, validate PO Exhibit details, draft deal summaries, and manage contract amendments/extensions.

Provide analytical support: data pulls, spend analysis, bid leveling, and rate comparison.

Guide suppliers on processes, follow up on Business Review action items, and ensure KPI reporting compliance.

Support non-baseline equipment tasks: create part numbers, maintain price lists, check bills of material.

Coordinate RFP events: pricing requests, Change Orders, PO issuance, commercial analysis, and bidder comparisons.

Train and onboard suppliers on sourcing tools, update process documentation, and support ad hoc projects (e.g., invoice audits, preferred supplier list cleanup, process efficiencies).
Required Skills & Experience

Hard Skills:

Data Analysis – Ability to analyze financial reports, price proposals, and technical data.

Contract Management – Knowledge of contract principles, negotiation, drafting, and management.

Technological Proficiency – Skilled with Microsoft Suite and Google Productivity Suite; familiarity with sourcing and purchasing systems.

Project Management experience.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Risk management knowledge and practices.

Experience: 2–6 years in sourcing, contracts, procurement, or related fields.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field preferred.

Experience working in multi-regional/global environments and driving process improvements.
