Position Title: Pharmacy Technician 2
Work Location: Remote – TX, MO, CA
Assignment Duration: 6 months with potential of extension
Position Summary:

Order Entry

Good Team work and open communication

Type prescriptions while verifying rules for the state

We type prescriptions into the system sent over from the doctor’s office

New business and new system coming

New technology adoption

Heavy Data entry (95 per day)

Process refills

Call doctors for refills

Call doctors for clarification. (72 calls in total per day)
Candidate Requirements

Education/Certification Required: High School diploma
-
Education/Certification Preferred: [blank in JD]

Licensure Required: Pharmacy Tech license

Licensure Preferred: TSBP Registration for just state of TX

Must haves: Pharmacy Terminology knowledge, Dosage Calculations, Telephone Communication Skills/ computer savvy

Nice to haves: Multitasks very well, Excellent Teamwork

Disqualifiers: No Data Entry Experience

Performance indicators: Scorecards

Type 95 prescriptions per day (When working preqa que)
