Position Title: Lab Technician
Work Location: Naperville, Illinois 60563
Assignment Duration: 12 months
Work Schedule: M – F 8 am – 5 pm
Work Arrangement: Onsite

?Key Responsibilities:

• Document all data and results in an organized fashion
• Conduct sample preparation and analyses of samples collected from various sources
• Adhere to correct procedures, policies, and health/safety guidelines
• Work in compliance with laboratory safety standards leveraging BE SAFE practices in all work.
• Prepare detailed reports of laboratory results and findings
• Responsible for conducting laboratory analysis (hands on working on the bench).
• Assist with the maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Understand and keep current with all laboratory safety and reporting techniques.
• Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualification & Experience:

• Required Skills:
  • Ability to work in lab for extended periods of time and manage simultaneous timelines
  • Support collaborative nature of team projects.
  • Excellent time management to deliver on time solutions
  • Interest in sharpening problem solving skills
  • Willingness to undergo respiratory fit test
• Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with inorganic nanotechnology
  • Experience with inorganic/water testing basic analysis
  • Good Lab Practices to ensure confidence in result

Education/Years of Experience Requirement:
Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, (STEM)

Education Preferred: B.S./B.A.
