Job Description

Job Title- Sr. Technical Writer
Location- Acton, MA 01720 (Hybrid)
Duration- 3 months Assignment


Position Overview:

The Sr Technical Writer will collaborate with QMS Process Owners to establish top-level Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for multiple QMS Processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with various subject matter experts across multiple departments including but not limited to Quality Systems, Document Control, Design & Development, Regulatory, Post Market, Purchasing, Supplier Quality and Production Controls.
  • Develop top-level SOPs which include documenting applicable regulatory requirements & standards, incorporating Business requirements, and defining and documenting key Inputs and Outputs.
  • Evaluate and update existing SOPs to ensure compliance.
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years’ technical writing experience, preferably developing top-level procedures.
  • Bachelor's or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Medical Device manufacturing.
  • Strong organizational and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications.
  • Excellent written English skills.
  • Excellent verbal interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Eagerness and aptitude to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Ability to contribute broadly to documentation structure and design.
  • Able to handle high workload, multiple responsibilities, and tight deadlines.
  • Motivation to succeed while working independently.
 
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
  • Previous experience authoring and publishing controlled documentation.
  • Experience working within a PLM system (Arena preferred).
  • Strong planning, organization, and multitasking skills.
