Role: Senior Systems Engineer
Duration: 4+ Months
Location: Remote
Work Schedule: 9am - 6pm EST or 8am - 5pm EST
 
Must Haves:

• MS Exchange online/Outlook & MS Teams + integrations extensive hands-on experience.
• Powershell, PowerBI, APIs, Webservices, Python, C++, JavaScript, Power Platform.
• Must work autonomously on projects, great communication skills both verbal & written, ability to work virtually with the team and utilize asynchronous communication as well, ability to troubleshoot complex problems to find scalable solutions, and can work in a fast-pace environment.

 We are seeking a motivated and experienced Collaboration Senior Systems Engineer to join our Collaboration Experience team. In this role, you will automate business processes, participate in the technical design of platforms, and manage ongoing feature changes in collaboration applications. Solid technical expertise and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams are essential.
 
As the Collaboration Systems Engineer, you will oversee the administration and integration of our collaboration platforms. You will work with internal and external partners across various organizations, establishing strong relationships with users to ensure efficient, secure, and practical solutions that deliver engaging productivity experiences. This position reports to the Collaboration Experience Manager.

You Will:

• Maintain and optimize collaboration systems, including preventive and corrective maintenance, capacity planning, and scalability.
• Record and manage changes, configurations, incidents, problems, and processes.
• Ensure system security, implement standards, and respond to failures or performance issues.
• Produce performance, capacity, availability, and security reports for senior management.
• Write technical documentation and collaborate on ongoing issues and projects.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee outsourced services.
• Install, configure, integrate, and test new system components and applications.
• Maintain automation scripts and enhance functionality.
• Follow industry best practices and quality assurance standards.
• Perform maintenance or upgrades with minimal business impact, including on-call duty.
• Analyze systems and participate in design and engineering projects.
• Configure prototypes, deliver products, and manage solution implementation and vendor performance.
• Engage in team activities to support Service and Project Managers. 

You have:

• 5-7+yrs technology support experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Administration and implementation of Collaboration Tools.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft suite administration and Collaboration Security frameworks including Exchange Online and Teams.
• Extensive experience using to build and deploy services using: Powershell, PowerBI, APIs, Webservices, Python, C++, JavaScript, Power Platform.
• Foster a collaborative and constructive atmosphere, exhibiting optimism in challenging situations.
• Decompose complex problems into manageable components, offering succinct solutions.
• 4+ Yrs Experience building efficiency workflows to deliver desirable outcomes.
• Successful track record in working on multi-functional team projects.
• Knowledge of other Collab platforms for systems integration and automation support.
