Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
Location – Must be open to both locations

• Alameda Crossing: 1719 N Dysart Rd, Avondale, AZ 85392

• Peoria location: 6611 W. Peoria Ave, Glendale, AZ 85302

Length: 16 weeks

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Room and vital patients

• Provide patient care basics

• Able to manage medical tasks

• Collaborate with others

• Partner with clinicians to create positive outcomes

Certifications or Qualifications Needed:

• MA Medical Assistant for AZ preferred (Phlebotomy required)

• Graduated from an accredited postsecondary Medical Assistant program accredited by:

  • Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), or

  • Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools

  • OR completed relevant Medical Assistant training by any branch of the armed forces

  • OR possess a Medical Assistant certification issued by a certifying organization accredited by either:

    • National Commission for Certifying Agencies, or

    • American National Standards Institute

  • (Candidate must also have completed a medical assistant training program)

For bullet #3, we can accept an active or previously active Medical Assistant certification from one of these organizations:

• AMCA – American Medical Certification Association

• AMT – American Medical Technologists

• AAMA – American Association of Medical Assistants

• NHA – National Healthcareer Association

• NCCT – National Center for Competency Testing
