Job Title: Technical Writer - Cloud
Location: 100% Remote (Cupertino, CA preferred)
Duration: 12 Months
 
Description
The HM is looking for a contract tech writer with cloud experience. The technical writer creates content for engineering, QA, UI design, customer support, and external developers: 

• Task-oriented user documentation
• Systems architectures
• API documentation
• UX writing

 
Key Qualifications

• Collaborate effectively with subject matter experts and peers on the documentation team.
• Quickly understand and document complex software and related tools.
• Demonstrate an ability to create well-written, structured, detailed specifications that incorporate feedback.
• Plan and manage documentation projects with shifting requirements and goals.
• Love technical writing!

 
Education & Experience
BS/BA degree required in English, Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Writing, or other related degree.

Experience with:

• Markdown and GitHub.
• macOS and standard macOS software.
• Editing the work of other writers. 

 
Additional Requirements:
More than three years of technical writing experience documenting complex applications, or a degree in Technical Communication
