The Technical Content team ensures our product data meets the highest standards of accuracy, completeness, and usability across all platforms and customer touchpoints.

Job Summary:
The Product Data Analyst plays a critical role on the Technical Content team, managing product information throughout its lifecycle using our enterprise Product Information Management (PIM) system. This role supports data governance, content development, publication, and system integrations while ensuring that product data is structured and optimized for internal and external use. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of master data best practices, experience in PIM environments, and the ability to create and manage actionable product data reporting. This role works closely with cross-functional stakeholders, internally and externally, and supports the day-to-day operations of product data management at Client.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage Product Information Management (PIM) content, including product records, attribute schemas, taxonomies, digital assets, and category hierarchies.
  • Support the maintenance of system workflows, approvals, validation rules, and user role configurations.
  • Collaborate with IT to support integration of PIM with internal platforms, downstream systems, and internal tools.
  • Participate in system enhancements, configuration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of product records from onboarding and enrichment to discontinuation and archival.
  • Work with Merchandising, IT, and Supply Chain teams to ensure item readiness before product launches.
  • Manage product lifecycle updates to support distribution channels and the supply chain.
  • Support regulatory, compliance, and sustainability data updates across the product portfolio.
  • Enforce internal product data standards, attribute consistency, and classification accuracy.
  • Conduct recurring audits and validation checks to ensure content integrity across all systems.
  • Lead remediation efforts for data gaps, format inconsistencies, or vendor submission issues.
  • Maintain documentation on data standards, naming conventions, and governance processes.
  • Develop and edit product titles, marketing descriptions, specifications, and feature highlights for digital and print channels.
  • Ensure consistency in formatting, brand voice, and SEO best practices.
  • Manage and associate product images, documents, and videos in the PIM for optimal downstream use.
  • Support and monitor the publication of product content to internal systems and external channels.
  • Coordinate product data syndication to eCommerce platforms, customer portals, print catalogs, and third-party marketplaces.
  • Build, maintain, and distribute dashboards and reports for product data completeness, publication status, governance exceptions, and vendor compliance.
  • Support leadership with KPI tracking and root cause analysis for content issues.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify reporting needs and recommend data-driven improvements to operational workflows.
  • Provide input on data health metrics to improve onboarding performance and data availability across systems.
  • Engage with vendors to guide data submissions, resolve formatting discrepancies, and ensure adherence to data standards.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising, IT, and Supply Chain to align content creation with business objectives.
  • Deliver internal training and support to business users on PIM functionality, content workflows, and standards.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in product data management, preferably in wholesale distribution, consumer goods, or manufacturing.
  • Prior experience with enterprise-grade PIM platforms (EnterWorks preferred); experience with taxonomy design, asset management, and bulk data handling.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Infor) and experience managing data across integrated enterprise platforms is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Power BI experience; dev and report generation is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, data querying, and database extraction techniques is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with data governance and GS1 standards is a plus.

  • Prioritization & Execution: Able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
  • Collaboration & Influence: Team-oriented, with the ability to influence across departments and work collaboratively with external vendors.
