Job Description: Project Manager – Strategic Projects Overview:
  • The Project Manager will play a key role in leading and coordinating strategic security technology initiatives under the Global Security Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring effective execution and successful delivery across a portfolio of projects.
  • The Project Manager must possess a strong understanding of project management best practices along with strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Key Responsibilities: • Serve as project manager for multiple concurrent strategic projects.
  • Manage project intake, scheduling, timeline tracking, milestone management, and meeting facilitation as per GS PMO processes.
  • Draft and maintain project documentation (e.g., 4 ups), following up regularly with team members to ensure progress and accountability.
  • Arrange and facilitate regular stakeholder meetings.
  • Collect, document, and communicate project success metrics, key ownership details, and critical milestones with relevant teams.
  • Measure project outcomes and success against organizational goals. • Identify opportunities for process improvements and alignment, taking action as needed.
  • Develop and implement change management plans for integration of new projects and processes.
  • Create communications and support channels for upcoming changes, fostering user adoption and minimizing resistance.
  •  Build and maintain long-term project timelines and RACI matrices to clarify roles and responsibilities.
  • Lead initiatives such as data standardization for systems like Genetec access control.
  • Ensure project governance, process documentation, and training resources are developed, stored, and shared as appropriate.
  •  Confirm that systems and projects meet policy and training requirements
 
Qualifications and Essential Skills, Experience, and Competencies
  • Degree in a relevant subject area.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience and proven track record of success in managing projects or change management communications.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to anticipate company and team needs
  • Strong project management skills and ability to multitask
  • Proven experience as a project manager, preferably in security technology, systems integration, or technical project environments.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Expertise in stakeholder management, meeting facilitation, and documentation practices.
  • Experience with change management strategies and training development.
  • Familiarity with access management systems (e.g., Genetec, Envoy), and mass communication systems, (e.g. Everbridge) is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word), and experience with Power Apps and Power Automate is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with Power BI are also highly desirable. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
