Position Title: Financial Analyst
Work Location: North Chicago, Illinois, 60064
Assignment Duration: 6 months - based on performance and business needs
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8.5 hours shift (Start time latest is 8:30am)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office
Position Summary: The Financial Analyst I will support payment processes for external consultant engagements.
 
Background & Context:

• Business need, contractor replacement.

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform financial review of payment requests, ensuring completeness and accuracy of documentation and ensure alignment to compliance requirements.
• Possess a broad understanding of payment methods across the organization (e.g., PO, ACR, etc.).
• Ensure accurate transparency reporting.
• Requisition purchase orders for HCP spend.
• Communicate payment timeline issues to business owners.
• Closeout meeting activities ensuring compliance requirements.
• Resolve payment and reporting issues.
• Identify process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies, processes, and procedures.

 
Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting with 3 to 5 years relevant experience preferred.
• Previous experience with invoice reconciliation.
• Professional customer service.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
