Job Title: Laboratory Pre-Analytical Services Associate I
Duration: 12 Months
Location: 8211 Scicor Dr Indianapolis IN USA, 46214
Shift Timings: 1st Shift Mon-Fri 8:00 to 4:30
HM stated she needs someone who is flexible as they are prepping for a mega study and once that kicks off hours will be 2nd shift 1:30PM to 10:00 PM Mon-Fri
Vaccine requirement: Hep B - declination form accepted
Medical Screening: TB, Color vision screening required
Summary:
The main function of a laboratory pre-analytics services assistant is to be responsible for processes occurring before testing, such as patient preparation, specimen collection, identification, preservation, and processing. Assistants provide general support functions within the pre-analytic and analytic laboratory departments such as clerical and laboratory assistant duties to support overall operation of the lab.

Job Responsibilities:
- Monitoring, sorting, and storing of incoming specimens.
- Data entry including patient requisitions, and double checking for accuracy.
- Assist in providing general support functions.
- General clerical duties.
- Take inventory, stock, order, and stock supply items as directed by supervisors for the pre-analytical department.
- Verify and enter patient demographics, patient consents and insurance information with manual requisitions along with collected and received time/date information.
- Order tests as per request.
- Fast paced environment will be working with collecting and shipping samples. Will be on their feet, walking, standing. Will
be packing samples, will need to be able to lift about 20 lbs., the HM did say they have a cart to move the samples around
in.
Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one time.
- Basic ability to analyze data and accurately document and record results.
- Ability to work in Microsoft Office.
