Job Description

Title - Scientist
Location - Irvine, CA (92602)

Duration - 06 months


Summary:
This is a unique opportunity to join innovative and early-stage development projects. This position will provide R&D support for process improvement and method development. The Engineer/scientist will partner with other R&D engineers/scientist both within the Tissue and Biotechnology Center of Excellence and across business units to improve the durability of our products.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform experiments and tests based on protocols, analyze results, and write reports
  • Provide support with instructions for sample preparation, data collection and other tasks
  • Manage chemical and equipment inventories
  • Prepare documentation including lab notebook and PowerPoint presentation

Education/Experience:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering or science
  • 1 + year of laboratory experience with biochemistry, chemistry, biology, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering
  • Prior experience using plate reader, microscope, or other instrumentation
