Job Description

Job Title: Scientist II
Duration: 24 Months
Location: Ridgefield, CT 06877
 
Principal Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide hands-on and strategic leadership to in-vitro/Ex-vivo capabilities - e.g. cell culture, Organ-on-a-chip platform or cell/tissue based assay development.
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot complex cellular experiments, and an ability to confidently utilize the cutting-edge technologies towards the scientific questions at hand.
  • Independently design, plan, and execute experiments; select approaches to achieve project objectives by leveraging prior experience and application of sound experimental procedures.
 
Skills:
  • Innovate and improve current methodologies to understand and enhance drug product performance.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments to get critical feedback and advance key findings.
  • Clearly document, compile and interpret experimental data; manage laboratory notebook, databases, and/ or spreadsheets to present data in a meaningful manner.
  • Keep up to date on relevant scientific literature.
 
Education:        
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with three-plus (3+) years of experience in related scientific discipline or Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in related scientific discipline or equivalent experience in related field.
 
Minimum Degree Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree
