Job Description

Position: Salesforce Business System Analyst
Location: Pleasanton, CA (Must be hybrid onsite)
Duration: 7+ months (Potential to extend)


Role:
  • Increased workload in this team to assist with backlog of projects/work.
  • BSA focusing in on Salesforce for the GTM team
    • This is a custom Salesforce instance (not one of the standard clouds)
      • Mix of sales cloud, experience, service cloud, etc. and then the rest is custom.
        • The majority is a custom Salesforce instance.
Responsibilities
  • Driving requirements, functional part of the conversation
    • Agile process
  • Documentation, working with dev team to ensure they deliver
  • 30% BA work, documentation work, user stories. 70% BSA work
  • Project:
    • Implement workday solutions for customers. Part of that engagement -- tools that we use that help customers fullfill those engagements.
    • 7 ongoing programs
Requirements
  • 5 years of BSA experience minimum and Salesforce
  • 5 years of Salesforce hands on experience
  • Preferred:
    • Workday implementation
    • Sales cloud, Salesforce CPQ, service cloud experience -- closest to the Salesforce custom instance.
    • Field services/GTM experience
Job Description:
  • Work closely with business partners to understand business processes, goals and gaps.
  • Collaborate with GTM development team and other business analysts in the planning, prioritization, design, development and deployment of new projects & system enhancements.
  • Responsible for understanding business requirements and creating documentation as needed; i.e. Business requirements documents (BRDs), process flows, business cases, gap analysis (as is vs. to be), functional design documents etc.
  • Leverage business knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Analyze and initiate configurations and customization of the Salesforce system and participate in the change management and go live support processes.
  • Facilitate review sessions with functional owners, subject matter experts and end-user representatives.
  • Coordinate and perform system testing to ensure requirements are met.  Work closely with project team during user acceptance testing (UAT); including tracking issues through to resolution and securing end user acceptance sign-off.
