Position Overview The Contractor will lead strategic (often cross-functional) sales initiatives, manage enterprise account planning and operating processes, optimize sales execution to deliver exceptional client value, and deepen strategic enterprise customer relationships. This role will play a pivotal role in accelerating sales, optimizing internal and client-facing communication, and driving execution and results. They will support a selection of Pearson’s top enterprise accounts, working closely with sales leads account teams and interfacing directly with the clients to secure multi-million-dollar partnerships. They will also drive the execution of select strategic sales initiatives identified as priorities for the Global Enterprise Sales Team.
Top Responsibilities
Support sales leads in managing Pearson’s top enterprise accounts
Foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders inside and outside the business to enhance and uncover business opportunities.
Collaborate with partners to drive mutual success and growth.
Facilitate the execution of enterprise account plans, ensuring cross-functional alignment, timely approvals, and coordinated execution of strategic initiatives.?
Own program and relationship governance for steering committee meetings, account reviews (e.g. QBR’s), workshops, and executive touchpoints, ensuring follow-ups and action items drive measurable impact.?
Develop and refine value-adding repeatable frameworks, project plans, and best practices for account planning, business reviews, and joint go-to-market initiatives.?
Mobilize cross-functional teams to respond to customer needs
Optimize account planning workflows by identifying inefficiencies and implementing process improvements.?
Work closely with sales leadership to streamline deal structures, approval processes, and contracting cycles, improving deal size and velocity.?
Turn account intelligence, competitive insights, and revenue forecasting into new sales strategies for value delivery and incremental revenue growth.??
Serve as central coordination point among sales, marketing, customer success, and finance, ensuring strategic alignment across client-facing teams.?
Partner with solutioning and product teams to align Pearson’s offerings with evolving enterprise customer needs and market trends.?
Execute sales acceleration initiatives with the sales teams, cross-functional teams, or individually to achieve business goals and objectives

Create compelling and professional PowerPoint decks for internal and external presentations; deliver the presentations as needed
Optimize processes, tools, operations, and data analysis to drive sales growth.
Prepare and present reports and readouts for executive briefings.
Ensure timely and accurate communication of progress and key insights to senior leadership.
Monitor and analyze progress indicators to identify areas for improvement.
Develop and implement comprehensive plans to drive growth and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate or enterprise business environment.
Proven track record in supporting sales and managing enterprise accounts.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Microsoft Office Specialist certification a plus)
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and deliver professional presentations. (Critical Career Skills: Professional Communication certification a plus)
Experience in customer-facing and solution sales conversations.
Demonstrated ability to execute sales acceleration initiatives and drive mutual success and growth.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
