Role: Sales Development Marketing Analyst Location: Toronto, ON M5J 2R8 (3 days onsite, hybrid) Duration: 6 months
Summary Client is seeking an Analyst to join their Field Marketing team, focusing on enhancing alignment with our Sales Development (SDR/BDR) teams across North America as well as support for a number of outbound marketing channels. The analyst will support client BDRs in generating top-of-funnel sales activities across various industries, managing reporting, conducting event follow-ups, and presenting outcomes to stakeholders. They will manage marketing technology processes, with a focus on maximizing the effectiveness of prospecting. The ability to communicate effectively across several key stakeholder teams is a critical function as well as the ability to analyze data to deliver informed inputs that drive strategy to fuel growth, marketing driven pipeline, and ACV.
This individual will report to the Director, Sales Dev Marketing, and must be an innovative thinker, with experience in developing strategic programs that are targeted, consistent, actionable, and integrated to deliver pipeline and ACV. We operate in a fast-paced environment and require someone with initiative, who can jump right in, taking responsibility for the success of their programs and meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Analysis and understanding of new business development and reporting of campaign pipeline for effectiveness and results.
Manage run-rate marketing tools or technology leveraged by the Business Development teams, such as our automated direct mail and personalized gifting solution.
Understand the marketing calendar of events, webinars, and activities coming up and promote them to sales teams.
Run standing meetings with Business Development leaders and program managers to review marketing activities and understand asks and priorities of sales.
Coordinate and create event follow-up plans and materials to deliver to our Business Development teams.
Program management of campaign tactics such as segmentation, campaign creation, email programs, digital campaigns, content creation, and similar demand generation tactics.
Collaborate across the extended marketing and sales teams to ensure quality and timely demand generation execution, across all internal & external marketing channels.
Budget and Vendor Management. Opening purchase requests related to ongoing programs and tracking against a quarterly budget plan.
Assist in data analytics, including but not limited to the development of program metrics, attribution, and overall analytics
Requirements:
3-5 years experience in a role managing and developing integrated marketing campaigns or working directly with Sales/Business Development teams.
Knowledge of Salesforce (including internal structure as well as our products & solutions)
Preferred experience with Marketing Operations tools such as Tableau CRM and Google Analytics
Ability to analyze data to make performance improvements
Aptitude to quickly understand systems and technical concepts in order to explain to business partners
High energy and the ability to manage multiple initiatives/accounts at one time
Track record for delivering results under tight deadlines
Exceptional organizational skills with rigorous attention to detail and strong project management skills
Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build effective presentations and project plans
Ability to lead productive calls, identify decisions made, and clearly state action items
