Position Title: Sales Assistant I Location: Dayton, OH Duration: 5+ Months (This will be a part-time role (30 hours/week) Working Schedule: Shift will be M-F, 8-5 or 9-6 EST with 1 hour lunch (with the exception of going over 30 hours/week)
Job Description: This position exists to coordinate duties with the many back office groups to support a world class selling environment and the best customer experience possible. The Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of information and follow up for existing and prospective customers while meeting the business unit objectives. The ideal candidate will be someone who is dynamic, motivated, and looking to drive to innovation.
Basic Job Function: This position exists to support the achievement of revenue, customer satisfaction, process improvement, and market penetration objectives.
Accountabilities:
Acts as a liaison between sales/operations and such departments as billing, customer data administration, service administration, credit management, product and pricing.
Investigates and improves customer satisfaction issues including customer billing and invoices, order processing, and contract implementation.
Supports sales teams by managing customer inquiries such as processing contracts, add/delete ID numbers, POC and address changes, invoicing and billing support and other administrative duties related to supporting customer, sales and management requests.
Compiles and analyzes data needed for operations of a sales branch, including tracking new sales and customer credits to assist the team in monthly revenue forecasting.
Provides territory data and assists with account renewals.
Works proactively to increase overall productivity of the sales team.
Coordinates all special projects and follow through to completion.
Works closely in a team environment.
Completes other projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and telephone skills

Ability to work independently on multiple tasks while prioritizing and meeting deadlines
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong analytical skills and computer knowledge with proficiency in working with spreadsheets (Excel) and word processing
Experience in performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities
Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented
Strong ability in different administrative systems and software programs
Professional demeanor, business maturity, and technical knowledge.
