Job Title: Operations Analyst Location: Salt Lake City, UT Duration: 6 Months
Duties: Credit Risk (CR) is a central part of the firm’s risk management framework, with primary responsibility for assessing, monitoring and managing credit risk. Staffed globally with over 200 professionals, CRM operates through several offices around the world, including: New York, Salt Lake City, Dallas, London, Frankfurt, Warsaw, Bengaluru, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. With expertise in financial, credit, and risk analysis, Credit professionals have daily interaction with many areas of the firm including Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, and the Financing division, offering a unique opportunity to gain a broad perspective on the activities of the firm.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Liaising with Investment Advisors, Legal and Compliance in researching and identifying funds and requesting information related to financial performance
Updating fund's Net Asset Values and performance in Credit systems
Working with Hedge Funds to better understand performance, strategy, and assets
Review documents and monitor covenants
Manage client onboarding flow for accurate assignment to applicable industry teams
Document process flows for the functions performed and share this knowledge with other new analysts
Take initiative to identify opportunities for process improvements and develop methods to reduce risks, increase controls, and increase customer satisfaction
Accountability for the accuracy and quality of work and escalating unresolved issues to management
Skills:
Detail orientated with ability to multi-task
Motivated team player with strong organizational skills
Strong Excel Skills, familiar with Pivot Tables, Formulas, VBA, etc.
Articulate & diplomatic
Ability to learn quickly and work on own initiative
Basic accounting or financial analysis skills helpful
Education:
Bachelor's Degree
