Job Title: Risk - Credit Risk - Operations - Analyst Duration: 6 months Location: Salt Lake City, UT, 84101
Summary:
Credit Risk (CR) is a central part of the firm's risk management framework, with primary responsibility for assessing, monitoring and managing credit risk.
Staffed globally with over 200 professionals, CRM operates through several offices around the world, including: New York, Salt Lake City, Dallas, London, Frankfurt, Warsaw, Bengaluru, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
With expertise in financial, credit, and risk analysis, Credit professionals have daily interaction with many areas of the firm including Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, and the Financing division, offering a unique opportunity to gain a broad perspective on the activities of the firm.
Key responsibilities:
Liaising with Investment Advisors, Legal and Compliance in researching and identifying funds and requesting information related to financial performance.
Updating fund's Net Asset Values and performance in Credit systems.
Working with Hedge Funds to better understand performance, strategy, and assets.
Review documents and monitor covenants.
Manage client onboarding flow for accurate assignment to applicable industry teams.
Document process flows for the functions performed and share this knowledge with other new analysts.
Take initiative to identify opportunities for process improvements and develop methods to reduce risks, increase controls, and increase customer satisfaction.
Accountability for the accuracy and quality of work and escalating unresolved issues to management.
Skills:
Detail-oriented with ability to multitask.
Motivated team player with strong organizational skills.
Strong Excel Skills, familiar with Pivot Tables, Formulas, VBA, etc.
Articulate & diplomatic.
Ability to learn quickly and work on own initiative.
Basic accounting or financial analysis skills are helpful.
Must Haves:
Bachelor's Degree.
