This position will assist with all aspects of the Resource Management process, systems, and tools. Some of the duties will include staffing administration, contract generation and management, resource forecasting, reporting, and overall Professional Services Automation (PSA) system support.
The Resource Manager must understand the deployment methodology and take an organized approach to strategically fill roles with an eye to practice development and resource optimization.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensures resource planning conforms to company standards, including planning, tools, safety, quality, and cost.
Maintain accurate reporting on all active and proposed projects, including key dates, risk mitigation, and schedules as they relate to resource requirements, budgets, and status.
Deliver regular reports on resource capacity and budget status.
Coordinates with Project Managers to determine appropriate resource plans, identify risks, and review established plans on a regular basis.
Develops and manages the tactical and strategic resource plan and skill management process for the specific area or across all business lines.
Identifies resources who have the appropriate capabilities and required skills to be an effective contributor to a specific project.
Focusing objectives and development of professional effectiveness.
Identify risk areas i.e. supply/demand, over/understaffed, shortage of a specific skill etc. and review these with internal stakeholders and Partner Practice Managers
Qualifying resources by validating certifications, work experience, prior Workday deployment experience
Tracking open staffing needs, providing proactive updates to all interested parties, and closing open requests/inquiries in a timely manner
Qualifications:
Degree in Business-related discipline or equivalent work experience
Experience in a professional service and/or a similar environment
Partner relationship management and contract experience (drafting and executing legal documents)
Ability to analyze data, reports and dashboards and a willingness to “dive into” systems and formulate new and better ideas on how to better support stakeholders
Accomplished in process improvement, project administration, and operations
