Job Description

Job title: Research Scientist II
Location: King of Prussia, PA 19406
Duration: 3 Months (possibility of extension based on business needs and performance)


Job Responsibilities 
  • Design, establish and execute bench-scale applications experiments using AKTA and other bench-scale chromatography system.
  • Perform process screening and optimization experiments using high-throughput PD system.
  • Analyze in-process samples using HPLC, SDS-PAGE, ELISA, spectrophotometry, and other appropriate analytical tools to determine product purity and non-product related impurity profile.
  • Develop robust and reproducible analytical assays to characterize protein-of-interest.
  • Author protocols and reports for monoclonal antibody process development studies. 
  • Interpret and statistically analyze data.
Skills:
  • Relevant chromatography direct development experience in Process Development (PD) and R&D.
  • Demonstrated strong theoretical and fundamental knowledge of chromatography for purification of Monoclonal antibodies.
  • Hands-on experiments with protein analysis – HPLC-SEC, SDS-PAGE, ELISA, Fluorimetry etc
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and manage multiple priorities at one-time.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
Education:
BS required (Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry or related degree), 2-4 years exp
