Job Description

Job Title: Recruiter ||
Duration: 6 Months
Location: New York City, NY
Workplace Flexibility: Hybrid, in the office 3x a week

Role & Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for strategically executing the end-to-end hiring for the Corporate Functions, HR and Communications verticals while ensuring superior candidate and Hiring Leader experience.
  • You will execute the recruiting process to acquire the best talent with speed and quality.
  • You will be a talent champion who can actively stay connected to a robust pipeline, maintain long-term relationships, and energetically sell the role and the AXP brand.

Here’s just some of what you’ll do in this role:

  • Lead and own screening, assessment, interview, and offer process activities for the regional/functional segment
  • Enact a broader GTA recruitment strategy to ensure the delivery of qualified and diverse talent
  • Master ops excellence by using available technologies to improve efficiency and quality to accomplish the delivery plan
  • Recommend and drive improvements to the local sourcing strategy and pipeline by actively collaborating with GTA Manager
  • Work with the Hiring Leader to achieve hiring volume and headcount goals, gather key input for candidate slates, and provide feedback on candidates and influence hiring decisions
  • Update and post jobs, manage requisitions, and disposition candidate
  • Conduct first-round phone screens, intake meetings, interview debriefs, and reviews assessments
  • Structure new offers, works with the compensation team to determine the appropriate package and negotiate offer
  • Partner with employee relations, legal, background checks, etc.
  • Communicate proactively and in a timely manner with candidates, providing details on the selection process and Hiring Leader feedback
  • Handle colleague referrals
  • Keep abreast of new hiring practices and trends in the industry

  • Ability to partner with ancillary groups supporting TA processes
  • Ability to make logical decisions in a complex environment
  • Ability to work in a high-volume environment, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize accordingly
  • Ability to influence at the highest levels 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of full life cycle recruitment experience working directly with hiring leaders, building relationships, setting expectations and strategizing.
