Job Title: QA Analyst V Duration: 09 months Location: U.S. (Remote) working PST time zone Summary:
Finance QA (CW)- The Finance Transformation team is looking for a creative and versatile Test Lead to support high-impact, cross-functional system implementation projects. The main function of a QA lead is to develop and execute finance test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes and validate that solutions match Finance and accounting requirements.
The Finance Transformation organization enables internal and external customers to utilize tools, systems, data, and processes to support Finance processes, compliance, and growth. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support strategic programs key to the success of across all areas of Finance, including Accounting, Revenue Operations, S2P, Tax, Treasury, and FP&A. You will work with a range of stakeholders, be required to navigate ambiguous challenges, and partner effectively to deliver change.
Job Responsibilities:
Partner with Finance Program & Project Managers to build test plans, test scenarios and test cases leading to business sign-off on assigned projects.
Evaluate and execute applicable test cases in Oracle Fusion, internal systems, and other third-party systems.
Document all test results and ensure execution results are up to date.
Keep business & IT stakeholders well-informed of testing progress and statuses.
Articulate issues, problems, impacts, and support needs across different internal teams as well as external teams.
Innovate and suggest out-of-the-box solutions to improve productivity and process.
Review documentation of software defects and assign software developers to investigate and resolve the issue.
Review and approve test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness or to mitigate risks.
Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
Skills:
At least 3 years of hands-on experiences working with Oracle Fusion Finance modules (GL, AR, AP, Tax, CM, FA, Procurement)
Hands-on experience in drafting test scripts, executing accounting testing and debugging problems through logs.
Good to have experience in building automation frameworks and creating automated test suites to automatically test ERP modules and workflows.
Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Expert ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Expert knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
Expert knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Finance, computer engineering or relevant field required.
5+ years of Finance or ERP systems testing experience at a large multinational company, with knowledge of Finance processes.
Experience with working on complex projects from start to finish.
Well-versed experience in creating test plans and test cases.
Hands-on experience with supporting multiple concurrent projects.
Knowledge of project management standards, tools, and best practices.
Experience conducting stakeholder interviews, assessing results, and making recommendations.
Self-motivated with communication and interpersonal skills.
Effective documentation skills.
